She studied Hebrew and Aramaic Languages and Literature in Tbilisi and Freiburg (Germany). 2005 she completed the qualification program for cultural managers of Robert Bosch Foundation in Germany. In 2006-2009 she was coordinating the South Caucasus Documentary Film Festival for Peace and Human Rights “Nationality: human”, 2010-2016 she was a Cultural Program Manager at Europe House Tbilisi. In 2012 Tamuna Gurchiani founded Contemporary Dance and Experimental Art Festival in Tbilisi. In 2012 she produced the documentary by Tinatin Gurchiani The Machine Which Makes Everything Disappear, which was awarded Directing Award at Sundance Film Festival.
