CONTENT
Sometimes our imagination forces us to move to another reality, sometimes we ourselves
become the creator of that reality, sometimes it breaks stereotypes.
”CONTENT” is a scenographic installation while one letting their imagination create the
space following the sound/music, text/poetry.
The installation is based on the visual performance ”Content” of the Ashtarak Drama Theater
which is a unique combination of poem ”Madding Crowds” by the famous Armenian poet
Yeghishe Charents and a musical composition by a young talented musician Narek Cosmos.

I SEE, I CANNOT SEE
War leads to peace… but peace is always very painful, full of human losses. And it doesn’t matter whether you win or lose. The two are interrelated: peace after war, war before peace… By comparing these two opposite realities we emphasize the importance of peace… what we see and what we cannot see…
Wars are supposed to be prevented by civilised conversation, neat attire and a well-groomed appearance. Yet it is the people who are caught up in the war who really see…
To live on a blue planet where almost nothing is blue. To be born a dandelion and endure constant storms.
“When you look at the sky, you will think that this is some kind of birthday celebration, because the fireworks illuminate the sky with a brightness that rivals daylight.”
On the night of director Artush Mikayelyan’s birthday, war broke out…
“This is a birthday party: the cake is the earth and the candles are the smoking shells sticking out of it.
I can’t blow out all the candles, the cake is too big.”
