Marianna (Lisiecka) Syska
A visual artist balancing between sculpture, installation, performance, costume and set design. An insightful observer formulating her own artistic conclusions in the form of REALITY SET DESIGN. Her works are characterized by minimalism, economical colors and references to modernist architecture.
A graduate of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław.
From 2018, a researcher as an assistant to prof. Urszula Smazy-Gralak in the Creative
Costume Design Studio (Faculty of Interior Architecture, Design and Stage Design at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław).
Scholarship holder of the Minister of Education and Science for outstanding young scientists in 2022 in the field of film and theater arts.
She has collaborated with such directors as: Dorota Bator, Natalia Fijewska-Zdanowska, Aneta Głuch- Klucznik, Gianluca Iumiento, Stanisław Melski, Agnieszka Nasierowska, Piotr Ratajczak, Natasza Sołtanowicz.
She has designed sets and costumes in such theaters as: „Marin Sorescu” National Theater of Craiova-Romenia, Polish Theater in Wrocław, J. Kochanowski Theater in Opole, Zagłębie Theater in Sosnowiec, New Theater im. Witkacy in Słupsk, Młyn Theater in Warsaw, Rampa Theater in Warsaw, Capitol Theater in Wrocław, Animation Theater in Jelenia Góra.
