Hou Jiantao, a young drama, film&TV, and stage costume designer, currently employed at the renowned Beijing People’s Art Theatre. As a member of China Stage Art Society, Hou Jiantao boasts an impressive academic background, having graduated from the the Central Academy of Drama with a major in stage costume design. Endowed with rich creative experience, he fuses a vibrant imagination with a meticulous craftsmanship, reinterpreting traditional elements from fresh perspectives and delving into various aesthetic expressions. His works spansa broad spectrum of genres, encompassing dramas, musicals, children’s theater, and even large-scale cultural and tourism performances. He has notable creations for stage performances such as Desire Under the Elms, The Miser, In the YongdingGate, Beyond the Horizon, Miss Julie, Pride and Prejudice，Waiting for Godot and more.
