In 1989 Zurab Nakashidze graduated from Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgian State University. Faculty of Culture and Education, Theatre and Film, and in 2005, Tbilisi University of International Law, specialization – law.
1989 -2000 he worked in various administrative positions at Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film Georgian State University. During the years from 1991-2000 he was the Vice-Rector of the University in the field of administration and general service.
2001-2004 he worked as a lecturer at Shota Rustaveli University, Tbilisi State Conservatoire, Tbilisi State Institute of Culture, Iv.Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
Zurab Nakashidze is the founder and member of non-governmental and public organizations. He is the founder and member of the board of the YTA Union, and since 2002 he has been the founder and member of the coalition „Cultural Front“.

Zurab Nakashidze has extensive experience in logistics management and has been cooperating with the OSCE Mission to Georgia since 2003 during all parliamentary and presidential elections.
