The whole installation of Static Image is composed of 2 large acrylic plates and 24 small ones. In these 26 plates, we draw some scriptures from 1 to 32 chapters of Diamond Sutra and carve them on the plates. Through the Buddha, scriptures and shadow, we create an immersive space. Tao’s courtyard is an ancient residence with a history of more than 200 years. In this space，in order to fit the temperament, we must create something to keep its stillness and cultural connotation. Chinese Buddhism contains a large part of the traditional culture and art of ancient China. In this ancient architecture, we hope to create some temple atmosphere.
