Spring in a small town is a traditional Chinese shaoxing opera script, which mainly reads lyrics and describes the plight of the country’s life with tangled love between men and women. In terms of design, the stage design of the center stage is adopted, and the stage is divided into two environments, internal and external, by the expression of line curtain, in which the elements of lines in traditional Chinese painting are applied. All the costumes in this play are in white color, showing the difference of roles through different fabrics and textures. The objects on the stage are transformed into the artistic conception on the stage, and the vocabulary of the whole stage is constructed through the lingering imagery.
