He is the deputy director, professor and master’s tutor of the Department of stage art of Shanghai Theatre Academy, the judge of national art foundation, the evaluation expert of degree center of the Ministry of education, and the vice president of Shanghai stage art association.
He has been working in creation and teaching of art design in the field of stages for a longtime, and had been leading designs of more than 200 pieces of works domestically and oversea from time to time. He won the 14th Chinese culture and art government award, the 14th and 16th Wenhua awards, and the 8th Golden Lion Award for stage art, as well as the national stage art project, China Drama Festival “excellent repertoire Award”, and many other national awards.
