Miss Julie is the work of August Strindberg, the father of modern world drama. This is a typical naturalistic tragedy. Focusing on Julie’s fate, the stage art was designed as a cage, and the three main venues in the performance were linked with curved steps. The seemingly luxurious house was full of darkness and weirdness. Finally, the heroine Julie died in this dark and hypocritical home like her pet bird.
