Graduated Department of Art History and Theory, Tbilisi State University. She was awarded PhD Degree in Art History and Theory Doctoral thesis: Tradition and Innovation in Georgian Scenography, based on the Examples of Irakli Gamrekeli’s and Mirian Shvelidze’s. From 1990-2008 she worked at TV Film Studio, Georgian State TV and Radio Broadcaster on multiple Positions: TV and Radio Broadcaster, Editor of the News web-sites and Producer of TV Documentaries (e.g “The Road of N.A.T.O.” and “The Reds”).
She was an Adjunct Professor, Department of Social Sciences, University of Theatre and Film, Taught courses: History of Scenography and World Art History , from 2005-2007
2009 – currently Professor at Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts , Department of Restoration , Art history & theory, Taught courses: Georgian and World Art History.
2014 – currently Head of Arts Supporting Division , Oversee coordination of the state arts institutions, Department of Culture , Ministry of Education ,Science ,Culture and Sports of Georgia. Deputy Chair, Proposal appraisal for installing sculptures in Georgia Expert Committee, Member, Proposal appraisal for installing monuments, sculptures and memorials in Tbilisi Municipality. Member of OISTAT, Representing Georgia.
She also has Multiple publications about Georgian arts and artists in the periodic magazines and newspapers, e.g. “Chronical”, “Literature and Arts”, “Theatre and Life”, “Stage”, “Culture Plus”. Author of K. Kikvadze (2012) “Tradition and Innovation in Georgian Scenography” (book) and D. Khvtisiashvili, K. Kikvadze (2011) “People’s Artists – Kakhi Kavsadze” (book).
