Has received Republican and International Professional Improvement Certificates in various years (Georgia (2019, 2017, 2016, 2008); Florence, Italy, (2010); USA, Bethesda Maryland, (2004); United Kingdom / Georgia (2003). Author more than 50 of scientific articles, exhibition catalog and bibliography of artists. She has given lectures abroad (London-2014, UK; Prague-2015, Czech Republic). Participated in international and regional conferences (2019, 2017, 2016, 2015, 2013, 2012, 2010 ..). Currently Meri Matsaberidze works as the head of old Russian collection at Georgian National Museum Shalva Amiranashvili Museum of Fine Arts in Tbilisi. She is also a member of the Board of Experts of Valerian Gunia Youth Union of Theatre Artists – OISTAT National Center of Georgia. Manager of Georgian National Pavilion at Prague International Exhibition of Scenography (Prague, 2015, 2019), as well as Manager of 1st, 2nd, 3rd International Biennale and Scenography Exhibition in Tbilisi (Tbilisi-Biennale 2016, 2018, 2020). Meri was working in Georgian State Museum of Theater, Music, Cinema and Choreography, Head of the Department of Scenography 1977-2013; Executor of many successful grant projects (2017, 2016, 2014, 2007, 2005, 2000). In 2000 – was involved in the project – „Exhibition XXI ”Century“ funded by Open Society Georgia Foundation – aim of the project was to create a digital and electronic individual database of the Museum Scenography Fund and a special search program. Participant and organizer of more than 100 exhibitions. She is a Member of the Board of the Georgian National Center of OISTAT – International Organization of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technologists; Member of the International Organization of Museums ICOM; Member of Theatre Union of Georgia; Member of Professional Union of Georgian Artists.
